Questions about the materials.

What is EvolutaCONCRETE®?

Evoluta’s proprietary glass fiber reinforced concrete, developed for outdoor kitchens and furniture. It combines the tactile presence of concrete with a material structure suited to precise, lighter architectural components.

Is it the same as conventional poured concrete?

It is a GRC formulation reinforced with glass fibers. Its composition and production process differ from a conventional solid concrete casting.

Which outdoor tests are documented?

The published technical documentation lists ZAG freeze-thaw testing and CATAS accelerated temperature and humidity cycling, alongside mechanical, surface and food-contact test methods shown above.

What does the freeze-thaw test show?

The documented ZAG sequence included 25 freeze-thaw cycles. The published result describes intact, smooth surfaces without visible color change or delamination of the impregnation after those cycles.

What temperatures were used in climate testing?

The published CATAS sequence alternated +70°C / 85% relative humidity, -20°C and +70°C / 20% relative humidity. These are laboratory test conditions, not a continuous service-temperature rating.

Is the surface protected?

The worktop documentation specifies a hybrid water-based sealer for food contact. Follow the current care guidance for the selected surface and finish.

Can I put a hot pan directly on the worktop?

Use a heat-resistant trivet and follow the selected appliance’s clearance requirements. Laboratory thermal-shock testing does not replace the worktop or appliance care instructions.

How do I select a concrete color?

Choose from Pepper, Concrete, Ivory, Olive, Coffee, Terracotta and Tortora. Screen colors are indicative; approve a physical sample before the final order.

What is EvolutaGLASS?

EvolutaGLASS is the 4 mm tempered glass front system used in SOUL. It is available in Corrugated, Crystal and Flat textures, with the selected colors RAL 8028, 1019, 6013 and 3009.

Does every collection use EvolutaGLASS?

SOUL uses EvolutaGLASS as its standard front material. ROCK and POP use HPL exterior fronts. ISTRIANA uses stainless steel fronts.

How should the glass fronts be cleaned?

Request the current Evoluta care guide for the glass finish and use non-abrasive cleaning methods consistent with it. Confirm any product before applying it to the finished surface.

Will finishes look identical to the screen?

No screen reproduces a physical material exactly. Concrete also has a hand-finished character. Review physical samples and confirm the selected texture, color and finish for the project.

Where can I get specifications or samples?

Contact Roble Studio for U.S. project support. The SOUL Architect Hub provides planning documents, a reference drawing, CAD and a 3D model.

Do material tests certify the installed appliances?

The listed tests concern the material or surface examined. Appliance selection, U.S. suitability, installation and utility requirements are coordinated separately for each project.
